Bloodline Activation

Agu and I were going over the series again and we noticed that certain bloodlines had to be activated in battles to be able to use their Bloodline jutsus (examples: Sharingan, Byakugan). Though some bloodline have nice passive effects that helps in battles (example: Senju Clan's BL, Inuzuka Clan's BL). So we suggest that there should be Bloodlines with either passive or active Bloodline effect. Another idea would be that every Bloodline should be activated in battle before BL jutsus can be used.

could be indeed, it would add more realism into bloodlines

That way I could play around with no BL unless i want to go HAM xD

i cant say i fully understand the active and passive exactly. mind explaining it a bit further?

Active effects: Effects available when you activate your bloodline and jutsus which become available once you activate your bloodline.

passive effects: Effects available as long as you have that bloodline

I suggested It could be either passive or active, or better still combination of both effects. Passive effects would give normal boost for offenses or whatever it increases. while activating your BL in battle would allow you use your BL jutsus.
Note: BL effects can also cause reduction in defenses or certain offenses.

so one has to waste a turn activating their bl much like wob has to release their ress/zan to use the moves that come with it. i am going to say, i am against this. in manga, when neji uses byakugan, as well as sasuke using his bl, they do not waste a turn, it is active as soon as they decide to use it. in a way, its always active. it would only slightly help -rp- in a sense, but game play, i cant say it would do much but hinder the combat experience.

I don't think i expressed that idea too well.

It would be fair if all bloodlines had to be activated to use jutsu, not just some. Would give non-bl users a chance and not have them feel like it's a pay2win game. Passive effects like offense boost, increased regen, whatever is always active yet to access jutsu would require the bl activation.
Then again, what's in your blood should come naturally to you so I'm torn in two on this idea. :/

i agree with mue on this one, from a raiding standpoint most like to get the battle over with as fast as possible to continue raiding and rack up kills, and people will battlehold its just natural thing people do when they get frustrated or sometimes its lag or they just went offline, i wouldn't want to have to sit and wait a round waiting for my bloodline to active when it should come naturally, so i should be able to use its jutsus just as naturally but thats my 2 cents

I do agree with muerte and Kings.
Wasting rounds for activate what you have naturaly in lower the game experience.
And if its to equal non BL players to the ones who have BL I have to say no.
players with BL > players with no BL
It has to be that, otherwise why would someone want a bloodline?

Alright suggestion dropped v.v I wouldn't speak of it again. Though I'd put in that your idea of how this game will be is being stereotyped to TNR's battle system.

We actually dont know how the battle system is gonna be. Lsm and Rain keep it in secret.
Develop the idea a bit further. Players with bloodline > Players without bloodline. But I agree with the fact that only because you have a bloodline you dont have to automatically win vs players without it. There has to be more factors besides of the stats.
