I was thinking about more detailed world effect wise.


Lets say you are a water element user, u go raid sand village - which is in desert area

in deserts and such dry areas there is lack of water, so naturaly ur water damage there would be slightly nerfed.

other thing could be like: if someone will be fire element user and will go raid Cloud village, if they use fire, the windy areas at so high altitude  would  increase the fire damage slightly

this could be applied in each seperate areas around the map

with boost/debuff for different kinds of elements

I like the idea but i see a problem in there.
What if my element is water and I decide to move to the Sand village? Then I´d be nerfed in my own house.
Wouldn´t that discourage players to switch villages ?

This also doesn't seem to be particularly supported in the canon. Which while that isn't necessary a limiting factor, I'd prefer to focus on aspects that actually bring some of the elements of the series into the game. In terms of elemental aspects, the entire system of elemental weaknesses isn't even touched on in TNR outside of bloodlines, there's no jutsu clashes with a fire jutsu being overpowered by a water jutsu, etc etc etc. In Naruto it really doesn't matter where they fight, they fight pretty much just as well as anywhere else - with the possible exception of water users who work better with pre-existing water sources, but like in the case of Kisame, that's not necessarily a restriction, there are easy ways around it.
